Eva Rimbau is an associate professor of the Faculty of Economics and Business of the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), where she has had academic management roles in both bachelor's and master's degree programmes and where she also teaches People Management and Corporate Social Responsibility. Dr Rimbau Gilabert's research work revolves around the management of human resources. She specializes in non-standard ways of working, the transformation of people management as a result of digitalization, and evidence-based management. As a member of the UOC's Digital Business Research Group (DigiBiz), which has official accreditation as a consolidated research group (2017-SGR-368), she has taken part in research projects benefiting from funding granted by both Spanish and European agencies, and her work has been published in prestigious journals. In view of her interest in channelling academic knowledge for use in business practices, she has advised organizations in the private sector, appeared in the Spanish media and taken part in international management forums as both trainer and speaker. She has been granted junior professor accreditation by AQU (Catalan University Quality Assurance Agency).
