The R&D activity of researcher Joseph Hopkins focuses on studying and evaluating, from a critical perspective, the uses and applications of ICTs in different educational contexts, especially in organizational and didactic mechanisms that may help the introduction of new teaching and learning methodologies, in order to transform and improve educational practice.

He is a member of the R&D group 'Research Group in Education and IT' (EDULAB).
