Dr Pere Suau-Sanchez's research focuses on air transport management and more specifically on the strategy for airports and airlines, sustainability and digital transformation.

He has been an associate professor in the Faculty of Economics and Business Studies and coordinator of the Sustainability, Management and Transport (SUMAT) research group since 2018. His research has been published in numerous high-impact international journals, and he has led R&D research projects in Spain, the United Kingdom and Norway. He has also carried out knowledge transfer and consultancy projects in Europe, America and Asia.

In addition, he is a senior lecturer at Cranfield University (UK) and a member of the graduate faculty at Central Washington University (USA). In the past he has also been a guest researcher at SEO Economisch Onderzoek (Netherlands).

His scientific outreach includes collaborations with various international media, including The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, The Economist, CNN, the BBC, and The Independent. He has also contributed to Spanish media including La Vanguardia, El Mundo, La Sexta Noticias, Cadena Ser and Televisió de Catalunya.
